So, I honestly come up with these things at the most random moments. It was 6 am and I thought of this. I’m sure a lot of people have heard about The Maine, or any band for that matter, helping people with their problems. I don’t mean problems with girls, boys, or like math problems. With depression. There’s stories everywhere about how a certain band helped someone. You read about it, but you honestly do not understand once you experience it for yourself.

I’ve read stories, but it’s also different when someone tell you DIRECTLY. It makes a bigger impact. And she turned to The Maine for force.

I’m sure everyone has heard “Don’t lose faith.” I believe in God, but I thought, what about those who, aren’t so close to their faith? Because maybe The Maine, or any band, has helped them more with music? Music saves lives. So I thought about “Don’t Give Up On The Maine”.

Don’t give up on faith. Don’t give up on your boyfriend, your best friend, your… bike. But what if, that boyfriend brings you down? Your best friend, doesn’t understand? Your bikes tires flatten out…. Or like me, you’re afraid to look not perfect to the ones who thought you were once perfect.

So, if you have given up on those around you, I want you to go to this and think about The Maine, they are doing this for you, the fans. And if you weren’t there to support them, they’d lose so much, especially an amazing fan. Don’t give up on The Maine.

I want this to be a project, where fans who are battling this can come to and talk to me. Anon or not. No one is going to judge, we can do it privately as well. I DO NOT WANT YOU TO HOLD IT IN and keep it hidden like I have. I won’t judge, or think ANY less than you.

Depression or any kind of hurting is such a major issue these days, I never once thought I’d be a victim of it. Teenagers are taking their lives, without needing to. Some are lucky to have The Maine, as their Saving Grace.

Sometimes strangers can help you the most. Look at how these five strangers have helped me.
